The bracing under the surf lifesaving tower provided a very industrial and stark contrast to the moon… hard to remain on auto-focus while operating hand-held only! Night-shooting has those challenges!
Along the path through the dunes to the beach the leaves overhead seemed to stretch out to hold the moon like a glowing orb.
Banksia and coastal wattle (acacia longiflora) form a dark foreground vegetation under a full moon. The plastic-covered wire fenced paths reflect the moonlighr. The Southern Pacific Ocean still and calm at the end. There was not even much of a breeze. Not a bad conditions for a late-winter evening beach walk.
